About Us
We are a small store with a big heart located in the heart of Arlington on Medford Street across from the Regent Theater.
Our mission is to support local artist by providing an exciting venue to display and sell their work. At the Artful Heart Gallery, artists and buyers come together in a vibrant and welcoming environment. By hosting artist shows and special events,

Owner
Carla Dorato, owner of the Artful Heart Gallery and a jewelry artist herself, had hoped that someday she would open her own gallery. When she learned that Erica Manalang, the former owner of Divinity’s Splendor Glow was too ill to continue with the shop, she saw the opportunity to fulfill her dream, save a valuable institution and help a fellow artist in need. Aided by friends and family, Carla was able to take over the lease and open as the Artful Heart Gallery in late November of 2012.
Return Policy
We are a small, independent business, and most of the products in our store are made by independent artists who work with us on on a consignment basis. We offer our customers a 14 day return policy in order to provide our artists the opportunity to be paid as promptly as possible for their work. Please let us know if you think you might need additional time to make up your mind before your purchase. Thank you!
